Release 138 

Dear User a new release is available in Boarding. 

Release 138 introduces several enhancements to the administrator experience, improved user management capabilities, and important bug fixes across the platform. It also lays the foundation for upcoming performance and authentication improvements.

What's new? 🎯

A new permission type called Key Contact Groups has been added.

Existing permissions have been automatically aligned with the current Your Contacts Module permission settings.
Administrators can now be granted:
  • View access
  • Create/Edit access
  • Delete access
Note: Manager Dashboard settings such as "Show list of employees to this group" and the "Edit Permissions" options remain available only to Talentech users.

User Management: Filter Users by Admin Role

A new filter has been added to the Users page, allowing administrators to search for users based on their assigned admin roles.

Benefits: 

  • Filter users by one or multiple roles.
  • Simplifies administration and user management.
  • Applied filter results are also included in detailed exports.

Improved File Library ''Copy Link'' Functionality 

To address confusion around file sharing, additional guidance has been added when using the Copy Link feature in the file library.

What changed?

  • Users now receive clearer information when copying links.

  • Additional notifications are shown when uploading or editing files.

  • Helps prevent issues caused by files not being marked as public.

This makes file sharing through Learning Pages more reliable and easier to manage.

Task Improvements (Currently behind a feature switch)

We are continuing to invest in the Tasks experience and are currently developing significant improvements to the Tasks module. As part of this work, the Assigned Tasks and Create Task pages have been rebuilt from the ground up.

 
The new pages are currently being tested, with early results showing substantial improvements in loading times and overall performance. The task creation experience has also been redesigned to provide a clearer layout, better usability, and improved support for translations.

These enhancements are expected to be released alongside the new Onboardees and Onboardee Profile pages in Release 139.


Redesigned Webhooks Create/Edit Page

The Create and Edit Webhook pages have been refreshed to align with the modern design used throughout the administration platform.

The updated layout makes it easier to work with webhooks by displaying more information on a single page, reducing unnecessary white space, and providing a more consistent user experience across the platform.
