What is Task delegation?
The Task delegation feature allows administrators and task assignees to reassign (delegate) tasks to another user to ensure an organization is ready for a new hire or a leaver.
Tasks are an essential part of our solution to ensure an organization is ready for a new hire (or a leaver). With tasks, key contacts always have a checklist of what needs to be done for every employee.It’s important to ensure continuity of this process when a task assignee is OOO (vacation, sick leave), or simply has no time and needs help with a task from someone else in the organization.
How does it work?

Checkboxes now are used to select multiple tasks and apply actions to all of them instead of one by one.

As an administrator, you can reassign single or multiple tasks, when an original task assignee is on leave, for example.
To delegate multiple tasks, select them with checkboxes, and click DELEGATE in the floating toolbar:

Search for a new task assignee in the list:

After a task(s) was delegated, a new assignee will receive the Task assigned email. You can see history of previous task assignees in the Task details ('Previously assigned to'):

The previous checkboxes have been replaced by buttons at the end of the rows.
Click the checkbox icon in the last column to mark a task as done!

As a task assignee, you can reassign your tasks individually to your coworkers, when going on leave, for example.
To delegate a task, click on the ‘Eye’ icon to open the Quick menu, and click DELEGATE TASK:

After a task(s) was delegated, a new assignee will receive the Task assigned email. Administrators can see history of previous task assignees.
